Birth Death Infinity, the second full length album from Project 7, features more of Dan Begelman’s guitar mastery and compositional skills, again supported by drummer Tony Gallino and bassist John DeCesare. On this album, Dan begins to stretch out more as a composer, with the opening track “The Last Night” coming in at 11:11. This is not a record of aimless guitar shredding, but a record of intelligent, well crafted compositions with intense but poised guitar soloing. The album also features an instrumental cover of the Yardbyrd’s 60’s classic, “For Your Love”, showing Dan’s skill not only as a composer but as an arranger as well.
