Something Glass is Dan’s first solo album. The ten all-original instrumental compositions take the listener through a dynamic journey of musical styles. The heaviness of “No Stone Unturned” is in stark contrast to the ethereal “Japanese Maple (Kira’s Tree)”, while the uptempo vibe of "Tsunami" leads nicely into the album closer, “The Killing”, a dark opus coming in at just under ten minutes. The blues inspired “Broken Rings” is an unintended homage to guitarist Jeff Beck. This album is a joy to listen to as it weaves its tapestry of engaging compositions, beautiful production, and world class musical performances.
